So maybe I should organize a Mad Men era game next month?

That would be pretty cool.

Quick question about helmets. I bought a MICH style helmet, but accidentally picked up a PASGT style cover. Will the cover still fit (with a little overhang on the front)? Or am I completely out of luck?

EDIT: An Evike guy I spoke with said it should fit. I'll update this post when it arrives and I try it out.

I do have another somewhat noobish question, though. What are the general policies about claymores/grenades/mines/etc for outdoor games? What about smoke "grenades," like this one?

We'll have to check with field, I actually am hoping they allow some type of smoke device as they provide an excellent source of cover a hastey retreat, or a well orchestrated attack plan. I'll ask Moondog about this, as for claymores & other devices like them, they WILL be allowed. NO PYROTECHNICS THOUGH. ;)

Which means, since I asked the question in another thread, no pea grenades and none of the flash-bang simulation grenades you can get.

I think those Pea Grenades are fine, agreed, let Angel get the final say. We used them at OPPV and they were fine.

Hold on there. The field specifically said if they're classed as pyro (fireworks) by the State of NY then it's a no go for PSI. If somebody can get some link or proof from a valid source that NY State doesn't class them as pyro, I'm more than happy to take this up with the field owners again. But until then, don't bring them.

Unfortunately Pea grenades ARE classified as pyro in the state of ny. We need to find other options. I'm looking for cold burning smoke nades. If anyone finds them, please post them.

Fuse/match-lit smokes are not allowed either. It must be pull-pin type (internal fuse).

Those have a fuse that needs to be lit if I'm not mistaken, so I would say they are a No Go. Sorry, fields set the restrictions for these devices.
