PLAYERS
Unlike other boards, user avatars are mandatory and must be a photo of your face. Airsoft is a game of honor and honorable players shouldn't be afraid to show their real face to their fellow players. Anonymity breeds asshats because they aren't worrying about being recognized on the field.
• Photos must be have your face clearly visible, without covering or mask
• Avatars should be between 80x80 and 100x100 pixels
• You can link to an online photo by entering the URL (be sure to define the avatar dimensions to be less than 100 pixels)

USING AN ONLINE RESIZING TOOL
http://www.picresize.com
1. Upload a photo, then using your cursor, make a square shaped selection around your face
and press the CROP button on the left side.
2. Then resize it so that is smaller than 100x100 and a JPG file
3. Upload it to your profile. If it gives you an error, your image is still too large
HOW TO CROP AND RESIZE YOUR AVATAR
1. Click on My Profile in the forum menu
2. In your Control Panel click Modify Avatar the Personal Profile list
3. In the field titled Enter URL of Avatar on Remote Server to Use: paste in the DIRECT LINK or URL from your photo hosting service. DO NOT use IMG code or HTML code that you would normally use for posting.
The actual image must be hosted on a photo serving website such as Google Drive http://drive.google.com
You can also use a number of online tools to resize your photos to meet the size requirement.

PRO TIP
How to Crop and Format your Avatar
Example A : This is what happens when I simply shrink the original to 80 x 80
Example B: Cropped to 80 x 80. Much better.
When resizing your Avatar learn to use the CROP tool AND the RESIZE tool to get your Avatars to 80x80. This keeps your head from getting tiny. I suggest starting with an avatar around 120 x 120 or 100 x 100 and then using the CROP tool to cut away the image around your head.
